Junk mail
When the IBM Selectric III came out, I had to have one. Of course, I ordered it with a Dvorak keyboard, which caused a great deal of confusion among the IBM order department, my salesman, and various repairmen who worked on it over the years, but I loved everything about it, especially the ability to buy different font elements. With all those font elements at my disposal, I created little junk mail
pieces to send (usually anonymously) to my friends. Here is a sampling, although for the most part I haven’t formatted them to match the originals.
